Pledge for America

A pledge is only useful if it creates leverage.

This is the action door for candidates, supporters, hosts, and organizations that want to help build a bloc committed to a shared governing program. The point is not symbolism. The point is power that can be used.

What the pledge means

Candidates do not have to agree on every tactic. They do have to be clear about what they are joining: a shared fight to lower costs, confront extraction, rebuild public capacity, and use Congress like it matters.

Run as part of a public governing bloc, not as a lone brand.

Fight for affordability through public competition and public capacity.

Use congressional power: hearings, rules, appropriations, investigations, and leverage.

Refuse corporate capture and make conflicts visible.

Stay accountable to voters, workers, and the shared Contract.

Choose the right path

I am running or seriously considering a run and want to review the Contract.

Supporter

I want to help find, fund, or support candidates who will sign it.

Host

I can host a house party, policy dinner, fundraiser, or candidate meeting.

Organization

I represent a group that may want to endorse, partner, or help recruit.
